My aim was to produce luminous objects , which by their movement suggest floating pulsating spheres of light. A fulgurite is a subterranean glass tube made by lightning from which ball lightning is believed to float.

Taken in the studio this series of photographs depicts the artist fending off a swarm of silicon chips as if they were flying insects. The work deals with the effect, intended or not, of technology on the individual.
